Kobo is an eReader that was competing with the likes of Kindle (from Amazon). Because their isn’t a huge differentiation between the two, they needed a new brand positioning to set them apart from their competitors. 

Readers Passion was a global TV spot that told a simple story about those who loved reading above all else. Basically, if you’re a serious reader, you read on a Kobo.
